1. May I ask if bq27220 uses an external temperature sensor or an internal temperature sensor for the temperature data in the data logs when obtaining the CEDV profile?
2. Does the NTC model have to be 103AT when selecting a lithium battery with NTC? Can I use NTC model 175?

1.) It appears that CEDV algorithm bias throughs the external temperature sensor due to it being more accurate and typically closer to the cell. However it can be configured to the internal temperature sensor. The image below are founded in the Technical reference manual.

2.) The NTC model doesn't necessarily have to be 103AT rather it has to be a NTC with "R25 = 10.0 kΩ ±1%. B25/85 = 3435K ± 1%". Also if you could attached the P/N of the "NTC model 175" to help out with the NTC selection
