UCC25660: UCC256604: HV pin set up

Part Number: UCC25660

Tool/software:

Hi,

My customer is using UCC256604. How should the HV pin be connected if there is only high voltage input, no AC input voltage input, and VCCP does not need an additional power supply?
Please clarify whether it can be directly connected to the DC high voltage input through a resistor?

BR,

Zach

  • Hi,

    Add some information.

In final product, PFC and LLC will integrate in one board and HV will connect to AC line.

Now RD is testing using board of LLC and there is no AC line only a DC bus.

In this case, the only method is grounding HV and adding another supply for VCCP, right?

Pls help with this question asap. Your great support is highly appreciated. Thanks.

You are correct. For debugging, Use an external power supply of 15V at the VCCP while HV pin can be open or grounded.
