Hi team,

1. If battery capacity is 1000mAh and default is 2425mAh, should we need to set the register every power cycle?

2. Regarding to Control( ): 0x00 and 0x01 command and Control( ) Subcommands

Customer can read Standard Commands like Voltage( ).But if they use Control( ): 0x00 and 0x01 command with Control( ) Subcommands, they can't get the correct result.

Could you help to explain how to use these command?

If we want to read DEVICE_TYPE (0x0001), should we add 0x0001 to 0x00 address and read 2bytes value?

    Hello Leo,

    1.) Within BQStudio in the register tab you would change the battery capacity (Qmax) to 1000mAh and this would only need to be done once

    2.)In regards to Control(): 0x00 and 0x01 command, this allows the user to control different aspect of the battery gauge but would not let you read voltage. A way to use the commands like such as 0x0000, 0x0001, 0x0002 and etc is through typing these commands in "Advance comm" tab in Bqstuido.
