HI All ,

We are using UCD9222 device on our board. We understand that it needs configuration to generate required output voltages.

What will be the default outputs generated by UCD9222 when it is powered ON ..i.e on a fresh chip recieved from factory ? Will it generate some default voltage without being programmed?

Can the device be programmed over PMBUS when the EN1/EN2 pins pulled LOW ?

The factory's default configuration supplied on all the UCD92xx devices allows power to be applied to the controller without enabling any voltages to be generated from the output rails.

This allows the controller to be loaded with its configuration after it has been installed on the customer's board.

The configuration can be loaded via several methods, refer to the Configuration Programming of UCD Devices.

The state of the ENx pins does not affect the ability to write configuration data to the controller.
