What is the alternative or successor of BQ27750.

I would like a device with as few software changes as possible to migrate from the BQ27750.

    Hello Shuhei, 

    The successor of the BQ27750 would the battery gauges highlighted in the image below, these all components uses impedance tracking as the BQ27750 uses as well. In terms of a direct drop, you would need to change the layout due to the current IC models using BGA footprint and using slightly different pinout. Another thing to note is the data command blocks are for the most part the same with the newer IC having more features. In summary moving to a new IC is dependent on your application and would mainly be updating hardware and needing to update software for new features aswell.
