Why is the R1 version using the latest chemical library with the ID 0242, while the R2 version does not.

Hello tech16,

R1 and R2 are using the same chem ID library and you would need to use the "GASGAUGECHEM-SW" tool to update your library and make sure the you have the most up to date firmware.
