Could you let me know if BQ25713 I2C power supply comes from VDDA ?

Though I beleave I2C power is supplied by VDDA, please let me know which power supplies to I2C circuit.

We recommend using an external 3.3V LDO for the I2C pull up rail.

Hello, Christian,

My question was whether VDDA supply to I2C Logic circuit block or not. This is not I2C SDA, SCL pull up power supply.

looking at the datasheet, VDDA (PWR) is used as internal refeence bias pin. so I think that VDDA supplies I2C Logic circuit block that is part of BQ25713 internal logic circuit.

Is my understanding correct ?

Hi Christian,

Because a customer has an issue of battery to VBUS reverse current depending on I2C access timing at the beginning of the VBUS power on. It seems to link VDDA power up delay time of 50ms, supposed I2C access in that time period is a trigger of this phenomenon.
