I am using BQ25756EVM, when i am charging a battery 4s, Input current in bench power supply showing 1250mA but the IC is showing 390mA. what might be the issue here.
5mOhms sense resistor is there on EVM.

Thanks for working on this.
The ADC is intended to be used as a general indicator of the voltage and current. For better accuracy, I would recommend a current sense amplifier or a current meter.

Thank you for the clarification.
So, A s per my understanding we should not depend on that ADC values for input current values, instead we better use external sensor to get accurate values.
please correct me if i am wrong.
