I am using input 8V to 16V. My desired output is 14V/ 16V with 2.5A output current. Can I use this device?

Hi Vishwas,

For such a narrow VIN, you need a higher switching current than LM25184-Q1 can offer to deliver the amount power that you need. I recommend using LM5185-Q1 using an external FET. The external FET will allow you to deliver more power with the same VIN. Please use the calculator design of LM5185-Q1 (link below) for your schematic design.
