BQ40Z80: The time interval between step one and step two

Part Number: BQ40Z80

Tool/software:

The customer feedback that the time interval between step 1 and step 2 must be within 1 second.

If it the time interval is too long, the command will fail.

Whether it is normal?

If it is, could you help to explain what value is the time interval limitation?  Why there is the time interval?

  • Hello Fabio,

When reading registers from ManufacturerBlockAccess, you must wait a minimum of 250ms before executing step 2. After around 1 second the command will timeout and will need to send step 1 again. The interval is just a timeout, this is how the gauge is designed to work.

    Regards,

    Adrian
