LMG3422R050: Power Topology Suggestion

Hi

We would like to design a converter, and we need to specify the power topology. Please check the specifications below.

Input: 220VDC to 550VDC

Output 48VDC

3kW total power

Please let me know if you have any reference design for followings.

    This will be useful for finding relevant designs

    Also, are there any other specific requirements you have for the design? You mention LMG3422R050 in the title, is this the device you are most interested in?

    Hi,

    End equipment will be industrial charger. 

    There is no specific requirement additionally. I just saw few reference design related with LMG3422R050. You can suggest me something else.

    Hello,

    There is a detail that I forgot to mention earlier, allow me to explain.
    We have multiple reference designs for LMG342x including https://www.ti.com/tool/PMP41043 

    However, the maximum bus voltage rating on LMG3422R050 is 480V, please see section 8.1 of the datasheet:

    The device can survive ringing voltage up to 600V and surge events up to 800V (see below figure from datasheet) however, the bus voltage rating is de-rated 20% and therefore would not be able to support many DC/DC topologies, this is likely why there is not a suitable reference design.

    If you have more specific details about the topology and specific end equipment I can help suggest some devices to look at.
