In the schematic, it seems that the DELAY pin is able to be rated with 40V bias power. however, there is only 7V specified for DELAY pin in abs max. rating table.

1. Could you confirm if DELAY is able to sustain up to 40V or not?

2. What's the pull-up resistor at DELAY pin you recommened?

I can confirm that the DELAY pin can support 40V and is a high voltage pin. 100k is an appropriate pull-up.

In the auto-retry mode as the DELAY pin is connected to 40V via pull-up resistor 100K-Ohm. How to estimate the power consumption of the 100K Ohm?

There is no exact voltage/current info on d/s for DELAY pin.

Brian,

Despite the datasheet listing the maximum voltage of the DELAY pin to 7V, you can actually put it up to VS (which has a recommended max of 40V). In the absolute maximum ratings we spec the maximum current of the delay pin to -60mA (when pulled up). The power level is very small and on the EVM we use a 0.063 W resistor for this case.

Brian,

Internally, the maximum current that you could expect to be see pulled with a 100k is 333uA (across temperature/process). This should give some clarity on the power rating of the resistance needed.
