LM5180-Q1: Inquiry on operating characteristics at low power

Hello. I have a question about the low voltage characteristics of the LM5180-Q1 product.

I was design 15V outputs 1CH circuit. (refer to Datasheet 9.2.2 Design 2)

The datasheet shows application curves from 12V to 65V, but there is no graph for low voltage.

I need characteristic curve about 5V and 9V.

Hi Junhee,

Both EVMs of LM5180-Q1 (see link below) are designed for a Vin_min=10V.What you can do is to order an EVM at ti.com (same links below) and evaluate the performance at VIN=10V (close to 9V). To run power at 5V and 9V, you will need to increase Lmag and/or Nps turns ratio to be able to deliver power at that low VIN. You can use the LM5180-Q1 calculator tool to design your transformer (Lmag and Nps) and the rest of the Schematic components (thrid link below).
