Hi !

I need to modify bq27541 parameters for finished battery pack through I2C.

The parameters that I try to change are Hibernate V and Hibernate I.

Now I have changed their values successfully.

My question is: When will the new values take effect?

soon after changing ? or need a software reset ? or else ?

I found some parameter like "cycle count" will not take effect after changing or even after a software reset.

It is best to always assume that a reset is required to have data flash take effect. Is this expected to be a one time change or are these values expected to change thoughout the life of the application?

These values (Hibernate V, I)are expected to change thoughout the life of the application.

I have tried to verify that they will take effect after writing without a reset.
