Tool/software:
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I'm using TPSI3052 to control back-to-back MOSFETs as an AC switch. Works perfect, I'm satisfied with. However, there's another requirement: protect the switch from overcurrent.
Since I don't find an ideal PTC, I'm thinking of using hall-based current sensors. These need their own power supply.
Is it possible, to load the isolated side (VddH or VddM) with a continuous 10 mA current? I cannot find such a spec in the datasheet. In TIDUC65 there's a comparator, it needs 4.5mA on the isolated side, but a simple comparator is not good enough for my application. How shall I modify the circuit, to be able to supply such a DC current? Rpxfr=16k at the moment, I use 3 wire mode.
Thank You in advance for Your assistance.
