We need to convert 28v to 70-120 range300 power but with fast transient for a current controlled output of 400amp over 600usec with 40 Hz rep rate.

seems optimum topology is ucc 28782 ACF.

In order to keep a flat top, you need to track output voltage over 600 usec. we will sense current by fast sensor.
Achieving this by brute force capacitor bank wont be possible due size constraints. Using feedback to adj vout thru current sensing  will reduce capacitor demand.

We are planning to use class D audio amp approach of tracking  vout through Vref.

what other method can be used for ACF controller chip?
Is it useful to apply modeling described in
