LMR50410-Q1: IC not working as expected wrt to Enable control logic

Part Number: LMR50410-Q1

Tool/software:

We are using the LMR50410YQDBVRQ1, and it was observed that the behavior of the ENABLE (EN) pin does not match the expected functionality.

According to the datasheet, the EN pin should be pulled high (>1.35V) to enable the operation of the DC-DC converter.

A control logic was designed to toggle the EN pin state between HIGH and LOW as per circuit mentioned below.

When Vin is HIGH and EN is also pulled HIGH with CAI_IGN_IN then IC is enabled.

However, when Vin is HIGH and the CAI_IGN_IN pulls low, it was observed that the IC is still enabled.

Even after replacing 470kΩ with a 100kΩ resistor, the EN pin does not drop to a LOW state unless a direct ground connection is provided.

Could you kindly provide clarification on the operation of the IC and the expected behavior of the EN pin?
