LMG1020: LMG 1020 Propagation Delay

Part Number: LMG1020

Tool/software:

Hi, the LMG 1020 shows a range of propagation delay in turn on from 1.5 to 4.1 ns. Is this the range from chip-to-chip, or for a single chip under set conditions?

Reading the datasheet indicates that the ranges are for 'free air operation'. However, when referencing to figure 4 I see a propagation turn on delay from 2.4 to 3.1 over the operating range.

Any clarification on the propagation delay would be helpful. Specifically I am wondering if there is data available on the stability of the propagation delay for a single chip when driven repeatedly under identical conditions.

  • Hello,

The turn on propagation delay range of 1.5ns to 4.1ns includes the over the temperature range of -40C to 125C and part to part variation. Figure 4 should show the typical propagation delay temperature dependency of a single part. We do not have data available on the change in propagation delay over time.

    Thanks,

    Walter
