Hi,

I am currently using the BQ256720EVM board with a 2-cell Li-ion battery configuration (3.7V, 4000mAh). While monitoring the system through Battery Management Studio (BMS), I observed the following issues:

Battery Percentage Display:
Although the voltage, current, and temperature values are displayed correctly, the battery percentage always shows 100%. Could you please provide detailed guidance on configuring the battery percentage accurately?
Chemistry Selection:
Considering I am using Li-ion 3.7V 4000mAh batteries in a 2S configuration, which battery chemistry profile should I select in BMS for optimal performance?
GG.CSV File Request:
If you have a working gg.csv file suitable for a 2S Li-ion configuration, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share it.
Voltage Calibration Issue:
During voltage calibration, I encountered an error indicating that "Cell 1 voltage is out of range." Could you please advise on the correct values and steps required for proper voltage calibration?

I would be grateful if you could provide point-by-point guidance to help resolve these issues effectively.

Hello Syam,

The errors you are seeing can be due to not selecting the right ChemID and/or not performing a calibration in the calibration tab before performing a learning cycle. The first step you should perform is use the GPPCHEM tool to get your ChemID that is 3% less than difference error. Then once this is completed verified that your critical parameters for your data memory registers have been updated to where you would follow this up with a calibration of your parameter. Following this you can perform a learning cycle to get your golden image.

Critical Parameter:
Design Capacity, Design Voltage, Charge Term Taper Current, Discharge (Dsg) Current Threshold, Charge (Chg) Current Threshold, Quit Current and Term Voltage
