Do TI’s chargers have a function to detect wrong type battery(like alkaline battery)? What if user insert the wrong type batteries to the charger?

    Hi,

    This is not typically present on our chargers. The charger behavior is typically determined on the battery voltage and the programmed charge characteristics. Its recommended you select a charger that is designed or programmable for your specific battery chemistry.
