TPS55288: Help simulating with TPS55288

Part Number: TPS55288

Tool/software:

Hello, guys.

I'm trying to develop a circuit using the TPS552882 at my school, so I wanted to do a simulation. But I found out you guys only have the TPS55288 PSpice model available. So I tried to use it, but it's not possible to achieve any results because the file is encrypted. I tried to use LTspice and Tina TI, those are the ones I have access to, none of them worked.

I would like to know if I can have access to a non-encrypted version, or if you have any user guide for me to try to convert it in a way that at least Tina can read it.

Appreciate the help. Have a nice day.

  • Hi Lunara,

Thanks for using the E2E forum.

We cannot share the unencrypted model directly via the forum. And this requires an NDA with Texas Instruments.

If you already have an NDA, (or need to create one,) please get in touch with your FAE or marketing contact you created the NDA with, so they can request the unencrypted model which will then be sent to you.

I am very sorry for this inconvenience.

    BRs,

    Bryce

  • Hello,

    Thank you for your answer.

The FAE needs to be from my school/company? I don't understand much about this, I'm a college student.

Appreciate the help. Have a nice day.

  • Hi Lunara,

Sorry for the inconvenience, we can't share the unencrypted model without NDA. You can try to simulate the circuit with Webench or PSpice, and the Calculation Tool can be found on product page to help design the peripheral parameters.

    Bryce

  • Hello,

Thank's again for your help and clarification. I'm gonna try to use something to simulate, but we already bought the componentes to build it phisically. We just wanted to test first so we don't damage anything.

Thank you. Have a nice weekend.
