TPS563208: Vout=8V when Vin =12V

Hi team

TPS563208 specified Vout should between 0.76V ～7V in datasheet, how about if I set VOUT =8v through change FB resistor? The device can’t work well?

Vin is 12V stable, I'd like to know why if Vin is stable 12V~15V, Vout can be 8V? how to calculate what level Vout can reach under different Vin?

Hi Amber,

The DCAP2 circuit sense average voltage of SW node which is same as Vout, the control circuit is designed and optimized for Vout<7V, Vout 8V is still marginal OK if Vin is stable >=12V.
