Hello team,
My customer would like to design 36VIN -> 5VOUT, 200mA IOUT configuration with as small area as possible.
I recommended to use switching regulator, but their board area was too small to use Switching regulator.
The load current might be 0mA to 200mA during start up of the load, but not fast transient load.
Is it possible to use ATL431 or any other shunt regulators for this configuration?
If I use LDO, the power loss will be 6.2W and it will burn any regular LDO.
