Can I use both Inhibit function using a enable digital logic and UVLO feature using potential divider in LMZ31710 / LMZ31704 Power ICs ?

Hi Santanu,

LMZ31710 internally uses TPS54020 IC , INH/UVLO pin is EN pin of TPS54020 internally

Both the datasheets mentions to use resistor divider for UVLO

Please review below scheme for driving INH / UVLO of LMZ31710 / LMZ31704.

Here both INH and UVLO features are being used. Can I use in this configuration ?

Hi Santanu

You can use an external signal to Enable the part, But LMZ31710 already has internal Vin UVLO and INH/UVLO rising falling thresholds as shown in the datasheet, as soon as Vin<=3.85V the part stops switching, I don't think having an resistor divider at these low vin 5V helps you, usually we use the Vin to INH resistor divider to increase the Vin UVLO threshold.
