I'm encountering a significant issue—I’ve lost the tools needed to create the golden pack for the BQ27510-G3 for my new battery.

I downloaded the latest software tools for the Fuel Gauge Battery Manager (bqStudio), but when selecting the BQ27510-G3 version, I receive an error message.

Additionally, I can no longer find any information about it on your website.

How can I obtain the necessary tools to configure it and generate a golden pack for my new battery?

Hello David,

The message you are receiving is due to your battery gauge not being auto connected to BQstudio. In terms of software side reconfirm that you do have your BQstudio updated to the newest version and as well as checking that you have the latest firmware update for the BQ27510-G3. Another common reason for your battery gauge is not connecting to BQstudio is by connecting to port 2 on your EV2400 and making sure that your gauge is connected to your cell. Lastly I would follow EVM document.

I would like to know if you have a process or a tools to transfer the fuelgauge done with a BQ27510-G0 to BQ27510-G3 ?

Hello David,

There is not a transfer tool or a publish way to transfer the fuel gauge from G0 to G3. You could look at the change list to see what updates where made during the generation, but your best tool is to compared the technical reference manuals too see what parameters within the data flash memory changed in terms of location and/or features since it appears that they have the same pinout.
