Hello! I would like to ask a question regarding SMPS.

I have implemented a Wide Input Voltage SMPS using the UCC82711, making it possible to operate with input voltages ranging from 400V to 1100V. However, since this IC uses PSR, I want to refine the output voltage more precisely.

Therefore, I would like to add an additional secondary DCDC converter, aiming to create a product with secondary feedback from 48V to 24V. Is there an integrated FET product for this purpose? Or if you have any recommendations or ideas, please let me know. if external FET type IC, Ideally, it would be great if the PWM IC can control GaN.

    This question is not related to the UCC28711.  You are looking for a DC to DC converter from 48 V to 24 V with integrated GaN FETs.  However, I researched it for you and have the following information/recommendations.

     

    I looked to see what he had for DC to DC converters with integrated FETs for 48 V down to 24 V and there are not any controllers with integrated FETs there designed for this step down with integrated GaN.

    You might want to consider a multi output flyback converter instead.  The following will bring you to a multi output flyback design using the UCC28740.  You can do this with the UCC28711 as well.  This will save you from having to add the extra DC to DC stage to the converter.
