LP5868: Chip_EN (register) setting during LED control setting change

I am needing to be able to turn on AND off the last scan line pulse from the round robin sequence. I think the only way to do this is to modify the 'Max_Line_Num" field in the Dev_initial register. I do not know if this is permitted in operation (i.e. chip enabled) nor do I know if this will affect the brightness of the remaining LEDs as the round robin is changing between 7 and 8 states.

Yes, modify the "Max_Line_Num" is the only way. It is permitted in operation with both chip enabled or not enabled.
Yes, it will effect the remining LEDs brightness. The average current through each LED will change between about 1/7*Iout and 1/8*Iout.
