Hello,

I am working on a project that requires 13 power supplies. I came across the TPS7A4701, which meets about 80% of my requirements. However, its maximum output current of 1A exceeds my needs.

I am looking for an LDO with adjustable output voltage, low noise, and low current requirements, with the following key specifications:

  • Input Voltage (VIN): 3V
  • Output Voltage (VOUT): Adjustable, up to 3.5V
  • Maximum Output Current (Iout): Not more than 300mA
  • Noise Requirement: Ripple < 30µV peak-to-peak
  • Quiescent Current (IQ): Should be low to optimize power efficiency
  • Minimum Load Current: Less than 1mA

Could you please suggest a suitable LDO that meets these specifications?

    Hey Adwait, 

    I would recommend looking at TPS7A20. In addition, is the input voltage a typo or are you referring to input voltage minimum? To be in regulation the LDO must have some voltage drop that is greater than the dropout specifications. This will also increase overall LDO efficiency if the voltage drop is smaller. Unless that was a typo the TPS7A20 should work well here, let me know if you have any additional questions.
