while redesigning our unit I have came across LMR60410. It seems very promising, however I would like to verify one aspect I have not found documented well and the LMR60410QEVM development kit is hard to obtain now.
In our usecase the input voltage range is 9-32V, output voltage is 5V, the switching mode is "auto" mode for best efficiency. Imagine this setup with output current being constant 10uA (microamps). What is the input current in that scenario? Consider standard conditions, room temperature, etc. Please share the measured value.
There is a very promising statement of quiescent current being only 5uA without switching. But we need to know the overall current including switching. Now if the measured value is below 100uA (microamps), we can get rid of the parallel LDO completely and simplify the design. If the measured value is over 100uA, could you recommend some alternative that could be used instead?
