UCC25660: Could the UCC256601 be designed an adjustable power supply

I am going to use UCC256601 to design an adjustable power supply whose output voltage is from 0 V to 300V with input voltage 170VAC -240Vac . Could the UCC256601 be used ?

HI John,

You can not use LLC for such a high output voltage range. Please create a different thread without using the controller's name. You would get a topology suggestion for this application.

Hi Manikanta P,

Can the LLC use for the input voltage range for 170VAC-240VAC ,right ? The LLC provide what the output voltage range is ?

HI JOhn,

You can use LLC for 170-240V AC.

LLC's are more efficient when max gain from input to output requirement doesn't exceed 2.5- 3.
