BQ27520-G4: BI/TOUT pin functionality

Hi Team,

In our design, we are using the BQ27520-G4. In our latest release, we used a 1.6MΩ resistor on the BI/TOUT pin instead of the recommended typical value of 1.8MΩ. The rest of the design remains unchanged and follows the recommended guidelines. Could this resistor change cause any potential behavioral differences compared to the previous version?

    Hello BINYAMIN,

    It seems that you are within the workable range of the battery insertion detection tool and will be workable. With a small difference you shouldn't see much changes within your signal integrity but I would still go with the typical value regardless.
