Hi there,

Is that possible to change BQ40Z80 device address via BQ Studio?

We wish to control (cell voltages, temperatures, battery voltages ext.) multiple BQ40Z80 like 16pcs with one MCU. Is that possible?

Hello Berk,

Please review the document for communication between mcu and battery gauge, however for the most part ram values registers are real time values that can't be control but data flash memory parameters are configuration on the user end. Cell voltage and temperature is a ram value registers since you can't affect the cell physics without attaching a load or charging the system.
