Hello, 

I am using your sample code for TPS929240, and i traying to create open circuit with the help of TPS929240 eval board.

But FLag_ERR register one bit is there for Flag_OUT this bit is not set but flag _err bit set , with the help of Flag_OUT bit we need to confirm to it will crate output/open circuit fault.

so can you if doing wrong somewhere or i need call more function to set that flag.

    Which code are you running? could you share the link first? 

    I am trying to understand your question. do you mean when you created the open fault, FLAG_ERR is set to 1, but the FLAG_OUT is not set to 1? how about FLAG_OPENOUT? could you read the correct status?  Thanks!
