We are planning to use LM74502H in one of our applications. Please address the queries below.

1. What are the minimum and maximum voltage levels at the gate when the input voltage ranges from 8V to 18V?

2. The datasheet specifies electrical characteristics based on Vs = 12V. We would like to understand the behavior when Vs varies between 8V and 18V.

Hi Shubham,

1. When input ranges from 8V to 18V, GATE will be VSRC + 12V.

2. When VS varies, the min max rating will still hold true. Typical is characterized for 12V.

But I am still not clear,

Please specify the minimum and maximum value of Vgate with respect to source, when Vs = 8 to 18V.

And which parameter from the datasheet shall we refer for this?

Hi Subham,

GATE follows charge pump during normal operation. Hence its min and max voltages be as such.
