TPS4812-Q1: IMON accuracy

Hi,

we are trying to determine the overall accuracy of our current measurement . which uses the IMON from TPS4812-Q1

there is a table which provides the Accuracy for particular Vsns input

and there is also this equation:

question :

1. which should be considered ? the two dont match .

2. the formula changes only based on Vsns is this correct  if Voffset is constant?

3. Please provide plots Voffset vs temperature and input supply

    Hi Tanmay, 

    1. While the two are not exact the maximum values do fall within the IMON range. For example if V_OS_OFFSET = 140 uV, and VSNS is 6 mV then using eq 17 Vimon accuracy is 2.33%, which is within +5%.
      1. I would consider using the electrical characteristics table to consider worse case conditions. If you know more precisely for your device what your VOS_OFFSET is and VSNS then you can calculate it more exactly.
