Hi team,
Is there any reason why the absolute maximum rating of SW pin is not specified in the TPSM8D6C24 datasheet?
Best regards,

Hi Kazuki
pls see the datasheet for IC TPS546D24A which is used in TPSM8D6C24 module
Thank you

Hi Savith,
Is there any specific reason behind TPSM8D6C24 datasheet doesn't specify SW abs. max rating while TPS546D24A datasheet specifies that?
Or, was it just missed from the datasheet?
Best regards,
Kazuki Itoh
Because the designer/user has no access to any of the things that influence SW, high-frequency PVIN bypassing, Boot-strap, and snubber are all internal
Thank you
Savith
Hi Savith,
I don't really get what it means. The module has SW_A and SW_B pins.
I understand the PCB designer/user has less access to SW pins.
But I don't understand because it doesn't necessarily mean TI should omit the abs. maximum ratings.
Best regards,
Kazuki Itoh
Hi,
SW exposed is only for debugging purposes and not for design. and nothing is connected onto that exposed pad. and hence no rating of it on the datasheet
Thank you
Savith
