I have a system that is doing a 5V to 0.8V using the TPS7H5001-SP and TP7H6003-SP as a buck controller.

What I missed, is that the TPS7H6003-SP won't take a 5V input. Is it still possible to use the TPS7H6003-SP with a 5V Input? And if it can't work with a 5V Input, is there an example of a boost circuit to go from 5V to 14V?

The TPS7H6003-SP cannot use the 5 V input.

The TPS7H5020-SP EVM is close to what you are asking for:

Thank you Daniel,

I saw that the TPS7H5020-SP is only in a QMLP variant. Is there a QMLV variant planned?

If there isn't a QMLV version planned, could we use a UC18xx-SP PWM controller instead to do something similar?

Hey Albert,

There is no QMLV part planned at this time.

The UC18XX-SP devices could do something similar, but I dont have an example for you.
