Hello, my product just arrived this afternoon. I started testing it and first applied VCC = 1V. I noticed that the supply current immediately reached 60 mA, which does not match the datasheet. So I stopped the test, suspecting a possible short circuit.
Then I began checking the connectivity and found that the HB pin is shorted to GND — the resistance between them is only 0.8 ohms. I would like to ask what could be causing this.
For reference, I just received the product this afternoon, and it is now 8 PM.
current driving too much, might be shorted, don't even dare to give it 12V input which will need around 2A current....
Hi Rubas, I think I bought it from Ti directly, I also did not know what's the reason that cause this, it is also wired to me, since there are no gnd pin around the HB pin, don't even know where it is possibly connected to gnd.
