Regarding the description of STATpin, the datasheet states “Open-drain charge status pin with 10-kΩ pullup to power rail.”
However, I could not find it in either the Typical Application Schematic or the Functional Block Diagram.
Please tell me the meaning of this description.

STAT pin is a standard open drain output pin. We recommend a pull up resistor, sized not to exceed the current below and pulled up to a voltage rail that does not exceed the voltage below:
The 10kohm is what most customers use if they pull up to a 3.3V or 5V rail.
