TPS61094: Do you have any device which has higher output capability than TPS61094?

Hello guys,

One of my customers is looking for 5V power supply back up solution with 5F single supercapacitor for 30 seconds.

Their condition is the below.
VIN 5V, VOUT= 5V, Iout 600~800mA, Super-cap voltage =2.7V, the number of cell =1.

They think TPS61094 is good device for their solution. But the device output current is not enough for their load.

So the following is my question.

Q.
Do you have any device which has higher output capability than TPS61094?

I think this is a further discuss for the same topic shown below:

I've some updates about the max Iout for your reference:

Firstly, please help check whether the Vout can be a little lower, such as 4.7V.

If yes, then the TPS61094 can provide Iout 600~800mA when the super-cap is 2.7V.

The problem is that with a 5F super-cap, the supported work time is much less than 30s at the max Iout.

For a simple calculation, let's suppose that the super cap voltage fixed at 2.7V, Vout = 4.7V, the boost efficiency is 90%, Iout = 800mA, so the Iin = 1.5A.
To support 30s work time, the total charge needed from the super cap is 45C. It's much bigger than the 5F super can provide while keeping the TPS61094 be active.
Well, I think actually there is no need to support 30s work time all in the max Iout 800mA.

We can further finetune the solution if more detailed application conditions can be provided from the customer.
