Customer ask whether this device can support 280AH capacity battery series? If yes, how to design it?

And whether this device has firmware or need to be re-burned by themselves? Thanks in advance.

Hello Francis,

The max battery capacity of the BQ34z100 is 320AH meaning that it's within the range, however you would need to look into "scaling" for either voltage, current and/or energy density. In terms of design the battery pack you can look into "typical application" for the schematics in the datasheet or the EVM user guide for hardware schematics. Lastly this device has firmware which is founded under the BQ34z100 webpage under software and I would follow the evm that talks about the process of using bqstudio.
