Tool/software:

1. For the sample of BQ27Z758, it was found that using the config file of 27Z746, the upper computer BQSTUDIO can automatically connect and pop up the BQSTUDIO communication interface.

When using the 27Z758 config file, it is necessary to manually select to force the BQSTUDIO interface to open, and the connection cannot be automatically popped up.
Both of the above methods can be used to connect and communicate with the product. However, it has been found that after burning the file recommended by TI, the product will disconnect from communication with BQSTUDIO. No matter what attempts are made later, communication cannot be successfully linked.
The latest version of the upper computer software used is 1.3.127

Hello Fabio,

It seems like the root of the issue is your battery gauge not automatically connecting and I want to solve this before looking the other issues. I'm assuming that you are working on a customer made pcb and if that is the case I would get a EVM and see if the issue can be recreate on that or a different board. Afterwards I would make sure that your hardware connections are done properly such as having the cell connected to the battery gauge, proper connections are made from the SDA and SCL pins with the proper resistors in series which are terminated to the right port on the EV2400 depending on the communications you are using and etc.

Hello Fabio,

Please follow the EVM user guide to setup the hardware, and than you could program the golden image file (.srec) onto the EVM and see if you can recreate the issue on it.

There is no BQ27z75 EVM. Could you help to reproduce this in you board?
