Part Number: TPS92682-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS92530-Q1,

Tool/software:

Hello TI E2E Support team,

The TPS92682-Q1 works as 1st-stage boost CV of Boost-Buck LED driver structure. The TPS92530-Q1 is the 2nd-stage buck CC.

[fail-safe mode]For the fail-safe mode, the 1-string LED(Low Beam Light) powered by 1 CC channel of TPS92530 need to be lighten. The  other buck cc channel will be keep OFF.

The failure situations are as below,

a)SPI break (Boostup initial OK)

b)MCU fail to start, SPI lost at beginning

c)5V supply fail for the tps92530-q1

and combine the situation in matrix

a b c
a
b
c

Could the boost and buck enter the [fail-safe mode] on each combination situations?

Thank you!
