TPS60231: EN2 and EN1 connection

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS60231

Hi,

I would like to ask a question with TPS60231 EN2 and EN1 pin connection.

The leakage currents of EN2 and EN1, per datasheet page 3, are on the order of µA.

Is it measured with a direct wire connection to VI without intervening resistor? If this is true, then a current-limiting resistor of value like 20K would be unnecessary here.

I am not familiar with the electronics here. Could someone this here: is a resistor needed between EN2 and EN1 pins with the control voltage?

And is there any reference design showing GPIO or PWN pins being used to control EN2,EN1 here? I think such a schematic would show whether a current-limiting resistor would be required.
