TPS35-Q1: Time Scaling with Adjustable WD Timeout

Tool/software:

The specific part I am using is the TPS35AA38AGADDFRQ1. 

Can the watchdog time scaling feature via the SET0 pin be used with a watchdog timeout that is adjusted with a capacitor on the CWD pin? Or, is the watchdog time scaling for devices with a fixed watchdog timeout only?

I want to adjust the timeout to 8 seconds. The part number above has the option to apply a multiplier of 128. 

8s/128 = 62.5ms

CWD Capacitor = 0.0625s / (4.95*10^6) = 12.63nF

    Thanks for your question!

    Please see the SET pin behavior section from the datasheet below:

    The scaling functionality can also be used with a capacitor on the CWD pin. 

    The CWD calculation for 12.63nF should yield the desired t_WD with scaling of 128.
