Tool/software:
We used a product of TPS54302 and encountered a large number of defects during the assembly and testing stage at the PACK factory. After investigation, we found that the waveform of the output voltage of TPS54302 was abnormal. In the application, TP54302 input 12V and output 5V 2A to power the 4G module. Occasionally, the 5V voltage appeared as 12V, resulting in a 5V load (VPS8504 and TAN capacitor short circuit)
Capturing the 5V waveform on site, an abnormal waveform appeared as shown in the figure above.
