Hi,

Is there any SIMPLIS simulation schematic from TI for LM5116 controller IC for transient/average analysis.

I got a simulation file for LM5146 (as attached) and was wondering of there is any similar for LM5116.

A general question, how accurate is this model behavior in transient compare to SIMetrix/Spice simulation of it?
Which part of behavior can be considered and can be said that is not covered? Or maybe all is covered with SIMPLIS model?

Hello Ryan

SIMPLIS model simply does PWM switching with closed voltage and current loops, but its AC response is accurate thanks to SIMPLS.

Is LM5116 AEC qualified?
What I see in datasheet, there is no automotive qualification for it unless it is not written or can be considered as AEC-Q part!
