Tool/software:
During a turn on ramp of ~12 ms, we are seeing oscillations in the gate and source voltage. At heavier loads, the circuit does not fully complete its turn-on ramp. See scope captures below:
What could be causing this instability?

Hello,
Can you provide a schematic?
Oscillations can be common due to line inductance, which can be mitigated with small gate resistors.
Have you verified the FETs selected are sized appropriately for the "heavier loads"? https://www.ti.com/product/TPS4811-Q1#design-tools-simulation
Thanks,
