You can use this part for ESD protection however it does appear you have it connected wrong. If you follow the image below you can see why I believe that but I am not responsible for the TPD4E1U06DBV product and would reach out with another e2e to ask the question of application.

Okay, thanks, I'll wait for clarification.
I connected it this way because I only need two channels from
this chip, I decided to just ground the unused ones.
And could you also clarify whether the ground should be
connected to PACK- or better yet to BAT-?

The ground should be BAT- since it is always connected and as for the esd component it self you should ask another e2e for clarification.
