Hi Ryker,
Can you clarify what SiC FET they are using, and why 15V is an exact requirement? The ISO5X5X devices do have a 15V recommended minimum, but most of our SiC FET gate drivers have a recommended minimum of around 13.5V, which we call 12V UVLO. This gives some noise margin and helps avoid UVLO during turn-on when driving SiC FETs at 15V.
The highest UVLO option available is UCC21551D:

Hi Sean,
Is there any customer have used ISO5451-Q1 as SiC FET driver? My customer wants to make sure that they are not the first one to do that. Thanks.
Best Regrads,
Ryker
Hi Ryker,
Yes, ISO5451 is commonly used to drive SiC FETs. It has a DESAT pin, which is optimized for IGBTs, but you can disable this feature by shorting DESAT to COM.
There is not much difference between in IGBT gate drivers beyond this.

Sean
